Abstract
1,128,275. Piperazine and derivatives thereof. JEFFERSON CHEMICAL CO. Inc. 7 April, 1967 [8 April, 1966], No. 16163/67. Heading A5B. A free-flowing, particulate composition consists of a major amount of piperazine or a salt thereof (including piperazine hexahydrate and anhydrous and hydrated salts of piperazine with organic and inorganic acids) and a minor amount, preferably 0.001% to 1.0% by weight, of colloidal silica. Piperazine salts specified are the adipate, phosphate, dihydrochloride, citrate, fumarate and tartrate. The composition may be dissolved in water to form a clear solution.
