Abstract
The station contains a gas turbine driven electric generator, and the outlet from a windmill driven first compressor is connected to the inlet of the gas turbine compression system. When compressed gas is delivered by this compressor, the gas inlet of the gas turbine is shut, and the fuel supply regulated so as to keep the power delivered by the turbine constant. The first compressor, equipped with an inlet with shutter, can be connected at the outlet to a second compressor driven by the gas turbine, and whose outlet is in turn connected to the gas turbine compressor inlet. This outlet can be connected directly via a heat exchanger and combustion chamber to the turbine inlet.
