Abstract

The building units are either cast in one piece or made from prefabricated panels. The units are covered at the joining faces with adhesive which in turn is covered by a protecting layer of plastic which is removed before assembly. After assembly the pipe system for plumbing forms part of the structure of the building. The water beds are connected to this pipe system. Ducting may also house all necessary services e.g., electric supply cables, c/h pipes. In an alternative design plastics and hard construction materials are extensively used.
