Abstract

The upper rollers are carried in a carrier arm. A supporting member is provided on the arm to hold guide and tensioning means for the endless cleaning belt. The belt passes between at least one pair of upper and lower rollers and is thereby driven, whilst only being in contact with part of the upper circumference of each of the other upper rollers. The supporting member may be pivotable on a bracket fitted on the arm, the pivot point pref. lying between the last and the previous rollers. The bracket may be horizontally adjustable. The guide and tensioning means may be adjustable parallel to the carrier arms. The tensioning means may comprise a separate roller and tensioning bracket to provide horizontal adjustment relative to the carrier arms. The belt may consist of leather, synthetic leather, plastic, rubber or similar material.
