Abstract
Sealing glass compsn. consists of 33-38% PbO, 8-16% SiO2, 22-31% ZnO, 15-23% B2O3 and 5-10% BaO. The glass compsn. consists of particles with a size below 0.4 mm. A hermetic seal is produced by heating the compsn. for at least 5 mins. at 490-620 degrees C. Esp. suitable for use in microelectronic circuits, for sealing, bonding and soldering. The glass compsn. has a high strength, good sealing properties and a good compatibility with the components to be saled or bonded.
