Abstract

Improvements to gravestones and monuments and the like consist mainly of the combination of a crude shape of the complete stone in a cheap and easily finished material of which at least the visible parts are provided with a decorative coating of synthetic material in one or more layers. Specifically, use is made of chipboard, woodfibre board, flax fibre board and the like, the decorative layer being formed by synthetic resin such as polyester resin.
