825,281. Pictures. PLYGLASS Ltd. March 23, 1956 [Dec. 24, 1954], No. 37332/54. Class 11 A picture or like artistic production comprises a plurality of layers 5 of bonded glass fibres supported in spaced apart planes, the layers being coloured and formed in such a way that when they are viewed in combination from a given side they appear as a picture or design in which the effect of depth is achieved. The layers are disposed between transparent sheets 1, 2, 3, 4, spaced from each other by spacer strips 9, 10, 11, at their edges, and are secured by adhesion to the upper Surface of the sheets, which may be of glass. The layers which are substantially opaque, each consist of glass matting bonded or impregnated with synthetic resin material such as polymethyl methylacrylate dissolved in toluol with the addition of colouring pigment and is applied by spraying.
