Description

DESCRIPTION
BOXING DEVICE FOR CHAIN BAGS
TECHNICAL FIELD
The present disclosure relates to a boxing device configured so as to pack a box with articles that are packaged in bags. Specifically, the boxing device according to the present disclosure packs a box with a chain bag. One chain bag is configured from a plurality of bags that are consecutively connected with each other in line.
BACKGROUND ART
A boxing device disclosed in Patent Literature 1 (Japanese Patent Application No. 2020-018383) packs a box with chain bags.
SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION <Technical Problem>
A chain bag includes seal sections. Before reaching a boxing device, a chain bag is inspected by a seal inspection device as to quality of the seal sections. A result of the inspection of the quality of the seal sections cannot be obtained before the seal inspection device finishes the inspection for all of the plurality of bags included in the chain bag. At the time the inspection result is obtained, a substantial portion of the chain bag has been discharged from the seal inspection device. In order to determine whether the chain bag should be discarded or sent to the boxing device based on the inspection result, it is necessary to ensure a large spacing between the seal inspection device and the boxing device. Therefore, the facilities to sumanufacture articles that are packaged in bags disadvantageously need to occupy a large area.
It is an object of the present disclosure to reduce an occupation area required by the facilities to manufacture a product produced in the form of a chain bag. <Solution to Problem>
A boxing device according to a first aspect of the present disclosure packs a box with a chain bag. The chain bag is configured from a plurality of bags. The boxing device includes a signal acquisition unit, a conveyance unit, and a control unit. The signal acquisition unit acquires a seal state signal. The seal state signal indicates whether a seal section is in a satisfactory or unsatisfactory state. The seal section is included in the chain bag. The conveyance unit conveys the chain bag to a first position. The chain bag stays at the first position before being packed into the box. In a case where the seal state signal indicates the unsatisfactory state, the control unit causes the conveyance unit to convey the chain bag to a second position instead of conveying the chain bag to the first position. The second position is a position at which the chain bag is discarded.
According to this configuration, the chain bag can be discarded without being packed into the box in a case where the state of the seal section included in the chain bag is unsatisfactory.
The boxing device according to a second aspect of the present disclosure is the boxing device according to the first aspect, wherein the signal acquisition unit includes an electrical circuit. The electrical circuit receives the seal state signal.
According to this configuration, the state of the seal section is electrically ascertained.
The boxing device according to a third aspect of the present disclosure is the boxing device according to the first or second aspect, wherein the conveyance unit includes at least one of a conveyor belt, a robot, a chute, and a movable guide. The conveyor belt moves the chain bag placed on the conveyor belt. The robot grips the chain bag and moves the chain bag. The chain bag slides on the chute. The movable guide changes a movement direction of the chain bag.
According to this configuration, the conveyance unit mechanically conveys the chain bag.
The boxing device according to a fourth aspect of the present disclosure is the boxing device according to any one of the first to third aspects, wherein the second position is located outside of the boxing device.
According to this configuration, the second position is located outside of the boxing device. Therefore, a chain bag to be discarded does not need to be stored within the boxing device, allowing the boxing device to be reduced in size.
The boxing device according to a fifth aspect of the present disclosure is the boxing device according to any one of the first to third aspects, wherein the second position is located inside the boxing device.
According to this configuration, the second position is located inside the boxing device. Therefore, a chain bag to be discarded is stored within the boxing device, thus preventing any incidence of the boxing device discharging unsatisfactory articles.
The boxing device according to a sixth aspect of the present disclosure is the boxing device according to any one of the first to fifth aspects, wherein the signal acquisition unit acquires the seal state signal from a seal inspection device. The seal inspection device is disposed outside of the boxing device. The seal inspection device inspects the seal sections at a seal inspection position.
According to this configuration, the seal state signal is supplied from outside of the boxing device. Therefore, because the boxing device does not include the seal inspection device, the boxing device can be reduced in size.
The boxing device according to a seventh aspect of the present disclosure is the boxing device according to any one of the first to fifth aspects, further includes a seal inspection unit. The seal inspection unit inspects the seal section. The seal inspection unit outputs the seal state signal based on a result of inspection.
According to this configuration, the boxing device inspects the seal sections.
Therefore, it is not necessary to prepare a dedicated device for inspecting the seal section included in the chain bag.
The boxing device according to an eighth aspect of the present disclosure is the boxing device according to the sixth aspect, wherein a distance between the seal inspection position and a position at which the boxing device receives the chain bag is less than a length of the chain bag.
According to this configuration, the boxing device is disposed near the seal inspection device. Therefore, it is possible to reduce an area occupied by an entire system to handle the chain bag.
The boxing device according to a ninth aspect of the present disclosure is the boxing device according to any one of the first to eighth aspects, wherein, in a case where the seal state signal indicates the satisfactory state, the control unit causes the conveyance unit to convey the chain bag from a position at which the boxing device receives the chain bag to the first position.
According to this configuration, it is possible to pack a box with the chain bag in cases where the state of the seal section included in the chain bag is satisfactory.
The boxing device according to a tenth aspect of the present disclosure is the boxing device according to any one of the first to eighth aspects, wherein, in a case where the seal state signal indicates the satisfactory state, the control unit causes the conveyance unit to convey the chain bag from a position at which the boxing device receives the chain bag via the first position to the second position.
According to this configuration, the chain bag can be discharged from the boxing device without being packed into a box when the state of the seal section included in the chain bag is satisfactory. <Advantageous Effects of Invention>
With the boxing devices according to the first, ninth, and tenth aspects of the present disclosure, it is possible for an inferior chain bag to be discarded without being packed into a box.
With the boxing devices according to the second and sixth aspects of the present disclosure, a state of seal sections is electrically ascertained.
With the boxing device according to the third aspect of the present disclosure, the chain bag is mechanically conveyed.
The boxing device according to the fourth aspect of the present disclosure is small in size.
With the boxing device according to the fifth aspect of the present disclosure, unsatisfactory articles are not discharged.
The boxing device according to the seventh aspect of the present disclosure eliminates the need for a dedicated device for inspecting the seal sections.
With the boxing device according to the eighth aspect of the present disclosure, it is possible to reduce an area occupied by an entire system that includes the seal inspection device and the boxing device.

The boxing unit 40 puts, into the box X, a chain bag C staying temporarily at the first position P1 on the second conveyor belt 212. The boxing unit 40 may be configured from the robot 22. However, the specific configuration of the boxing unit 40 is not limited thereto; the boxing unit 40 may be embodied in a variety of forms. (2-5) Control unit 80
The control unit 80 receives the seal state signal R from the signal acquisition unit 10. The control unit 80 transmits commands to the conveyance unit 20, the folding unit 30, and the boxing unit 40.
In a case where the seal state signal R indicates a satisfactory state of the seal sections S of the chain bag C, the control unit 80 transmits, to the conveyance unit 20, a command to convey the chain bag C to the first position P1.
In a case where the seal state signal R indicates an unsatisfactory state of the seal sections S of the chain bag C, the control unit 80 transmits, to the conveyance unit 20, a command to convey the chain bag C to the second position P2 instead of to the first position
P1 (3) Characteristics (3-1)
The boxing device 90 can discard a chain bag C at the second position P2 without packing the chain bag C into the box X in a case where the state of the seal sections S included in the chain bag C is unsatisfactory. (3-2)
The state of the seal sections S is electrically ascertained by the electrical circuit 11. (3-3)
The conveyance unit 20 mechanically conveys a chain bag C by using the conveyor belt 21, the robot 22, the chute 23, the movable guide 24, or the like. (3-4)
The second position P2 is located outside of the boxing device 90. Therefore, a chain bag C to be discarded does not need to be stored within the boxing device 90, allowing the boxing device 90 to be reduced in size. (3-5)
The seal state signal R is supplied from outside of the boxing device 90. Therefore, because the boxing device 90 does not include the seal inspection device 110, the boxing device 90 can be reduced in size. (3-6)
The distance D between the seal inspection position PS and the reception position
PR is less than the length L of a chain bag C. Therefore, because the boxing device 90 is disposed close to the seal inspection device 110, it is possible to reduce an area occupied by an entire system to handle the chain bag C. (3-7)

Instead, in a boxing device 90A according to a first modification of the first embodiment as shown in FIG. 5, the second position P2 is located inside the boxing device 90A.
According to this configuration, a chain bag C to be discarded is stored within the boxing device 90A. Therefore, incidences of the boxing device 90A discharging an unsatisfactory product P is avoided, thus making it possible to suppress the occurrence of events in which an unsatisfactory product P is erroneously packed into the box X by hand. (4-2) Second modification of first embodiment
In the boxing device 90 according to the first embodiment described above, in a case where the seal state signal R indicates a satisfactory state of the seal sections S of the chain bag C, the control unit 80 transmits, to the conveyance unit 20, a command to convey the chain bag C to the first position P1. The chain bag C stays temporarily at the first position
P1 before being packed into the box X.
Instead, in the boxing device 90 according to a second modification of the first embodiment, in a case where the seal state signal R indicates a satisfactory state of the seal sections S of the chain bag C, the control unit 80 transmits, to the conveyance unit 20, a command to convey the chain bag C to the second position P2. In this instance, after the conveyance unit 20 receives the chain bag C at the reception position PR, the chain bag C may be conveyed to the second position P2 after once passing the first position P1.
According to this configuration, in a case where the state of the seal sections S included in the chain bag C is satisfactory, the chain bag C is not packed into the box X but rather is transported to the second position P2. Therefore, chain bags C accumulated at the second position P2 can, for example, be packed into the box X by hand, without depending on the boxing unit 40 of the boxing device 90. <Second embodiment> (1) Configuration
FIG. 6 shows a boxing device 90B according to a second embodiment of the present disclosure. The boxing device 90B differs from the boxing device 90 according to the first embodiment by having a seal inspection unit 70, in addition to the signal acquisition unit 10, the conveyance unit 20, the folding unit 30, the boxing unit 40, and the control unit 80.
The seal inspection unit 70 is disposed at an upstream side compared with the conveyance unit 20 in a conveyance path of a chain bag C. The seal inspection unit 70 inspects quality of seal sections S of the chain bag C at a seal inspection position PS. The seal inspection section 70 transmits, to the signal acquisition unit 10, a seal state signal R indicating the quality of the seal sections S. The conveyance unit 20 conveys the chain bag
C received by the boxing device 90B to the seal inspection unit 70. The conveyance unit 20 receives, from the seal inspection section 70, the chain bag C for which the inspection of the seal sections S has been finished.
P1. (2) Characteristics
The boxing device 90B inspects the seal sections S by using the seal inspection unit 70. Therefore, it is not necessary to prepare a dedicated device for inspecting the seal sections S included in the chain bag C. (3) Modifications
The modifications of the first embodiment may also be applied to the boxing device 90B according to the second embodiment.
