Description
The invention relates to a device for extracting pills from a blister provided with a blister film, comprising: - an at least partially curved extraction surface for stationary placement of the blister, wherein the blister film abuts the extraction surface and wherein the extraction surface is on the underside is provided with drop openings corresponding to positions of the pills in the blister, - one or more rotatable pressure rollers, in which each pressure roll can be rolled over at least a part of the surface of the blister for pressing out of the blister during operation of the pills through the blister foil and through the drop openings, and - a collection means placed under the extraction surface for receiving the pills dropped through the fall openings.
The device according to the preamble is known in the art and is described in the international patent application WO2013 / 072579. The device is described in technical terms as a debloning machine.
De bekende inrichting heeft een aantal nadelen. The known device has a number of disadvantages.
The drawback of the known device is that in the known device the blister film of the blister is not put under tension when the pills are pressed through, as a result of which one or more pills remain behind in the blister. Tensioning the foil is incidentally an action that someone often performs when manually pressing a pill from the blister.
In addition, the known device has the drawback that the shape of the extraction surface makes the blister unstable in the device, so that automatic feeding of the blisters is difficult. This makes it difficult or impossible to automate the known device.
Moreover, the known device has the disadvantage that not all pills pressed from the blister fall directly into the collecting means, but onto or along parts of the known device. These are parts that are difficult to reach, so these parts cannot be cleaned effectively. As a result, the pills can become contaminated with substances from previous blisters.
It is the object of the invention to provide a device according to the preamble which completely or largely eliminates the above disadvantages. To that end, the device according to the invention is characterized in that the at least partially curved extraction surface is concave. This measure ensures that the blister film is stretched when the pills are squeezed out, so that the pills no longer remain in the blister. Moreover, the blister remains stable in the device as a result of the measure taken.
In an embodiment of the device according to the invention that is highly suitable for automation, the one or more pressure rollers are rotatably arranged around a rotation axis, wherein the longitudinal direction of each pressure roller runs parallel to the rotation axis and the rotation axis is substantially applied above the extraction surface. The pressure roller is, in contrast to the known device, no longer limited to a reciprocating movement, but can also make a rotating movement, so that there are more possibilities for automating the device according to the invention.
As a result of these measures, the pressure rollers will roll more easily over the extraction surface, the pressure exerted by the pressure roll on all parts of the blister being substantially the same.
The roller pressure of at least one pressure roller is preferably adjustable. However, it is most preferred to make the roller pressure of all pressure rollers adjustable.
In a first embodiment of the device according to the invention, the printing rollers are arranged in pairs, such that each pair of printing rollers rolls over a blister during operation. As a result, the pressing out of the pills can be carried out in two steps, wherein the first printing roll of the pair of printing rolls breaks the blister film, preferably with a high rolling pressure, and the second printing roll of the pair of printing rolls presses the pills out of the blister. In addition, it is of course also possible that the first printing roll of the pair of printing rollers has pressed pills out of the blister.
The device according to the invention is preferably provided with one or more wiping means, each of which is arranged so as to be rotatable about the axis of rotation that in operation one of the wiping means sweeps over at least a part of the extraction surface after the pills have been pressed from a placed blister by the one or more pressure rollers. As a result of these measures, an empty blister will be automatically removed from the extraction surface by the sweeping means. As a result, the device is ready for the next blister after the pills have been squeezed out and the blister does not have to be removed manually first.
The extracting surface is preferably provided with a stop member for keeping the blister in position during operation during the rolling of one of the pressure rollers over the blister.
In an alternative embodiment of the device according to the invention, the device is provided with one or more brushes and means for rotating the brushes, in which the one or more brushes are rotatably arranged around the axis of rotation and the longitudinal direction of each brush is parallel. runs with the axis of rotation and in which the brushes brush over at least a part of the blister in operation. The device is preferably provided with motors for rotating the brushes. The technical effect of these measures is that the blister is vibrated, so that the pills present in the blister are vibrated from the blister.
In the preferred embodiment of the device, the device is preferably further provided with a series of parallel running, substantially flat partitions, in which at least a part of an upper side thereof forms the extraction surface, in which the mutual distance between the partitions is adjustable, the fall openings are formed by one or more spaces between the partitions and the partitions are arranged such that the pills pressed through the blister can fall into the collecting means without interruption through the fall openings. With the aid of the flat partitions, an extraction surface is created at the top thereof, which surface can be adapted to the type of blister. It is important here that the pills can fall unimpeded into the collecting means, without being hindered by parts for arranging the partitions in the device.
To that end, the preferred embodiment of the device is preferably further provided with at least two parallel conductors, each of which is substantially transverse to the baffles and which are intended for supporting the baffles and adjusting the mutual distance between the baffles. The first conductors are thereby mounted such that the pills are not hindered by the first conductors falling into the collecting means.
To adjust the mutual distance between the partitions, each first guide is preferably provided with a series of grooves in which a parting can be locked. In the mounted condition of the first conductors, the grooves of the first conductors correspond, so that the mutual distance between the partitions can be adjusted discretely in an easy manner.
Preferably the series of baffles is arranged substantially transversely to the longitudinal direction of each of the pressure rollers, whereby the pressure rollers are supported over the entire extraction surface.
In the preferred embodiment of the device, the first baffle in the series of baffles is preferably arranged such that when the printing roller is rolling over the blister the printing roller does not make contact with the first baffle and forms a first side boundary for the blister.
In the preferred embodiment of the device according to the invention, the device is further provided with a second lateral boundary for the blister, which is arranged on the device in such a way that when rolling each of the printing rollers over the blister the second lateral boundary is pushed away by the respective printing roller. .
In order to automate the device, the device is provided with an automatic supply and discharge of blisters.
The invention will be discussed in more detail below with reference to the following figures, in which:

The same figures in the figures indicate the same parts.
Figure 1 shows a cross-sectional view of the preferred embodiment of the device 1 according to the invention provided with automatic blister supply means 2 and an automatic discharge 3 of pills 4. The automatic blister supply means 2 comprise a conveyor belt 7 and a blister supply holder 8. The automatic blister supply means 2 are arranged such that a blister 5 from the blister supply holder 8 is deposited on the conveyor belt 7, whereafter the conveyor belt 7 transports the blister 5 further.
The deblower machine 1 is provided with an at least partially curved extraction surface 6, which is concave shaped, on which the blister 5 is deposited by the automatic blister supply means 2.. The push-through foil is thereby in contact with the extraction surface 6. The extraction surface 6 is provided on its underside with fall openings, which correspond to positions of the pills 4 in the blister 5. The fall openings will be better visible in the other figures.
The deblower machine 1 also comprises four rotatable pressure rollers 7A, 7B, 7C, 7D, which are preferably each provided with a rubber layer. The pressure rollers 7A, 7B, 7C, 7D are rotatably arranged around a rotation axis 8, which rotation axis is perpendicular to the plane of Figure 1. The longitudinal direction of each pressure roller 7A, 7B, 7C, 7D thereby runs parallel to the rotation axis 8 and is also perpendicular to the plane of Figure 1. It is important that the axis of rotation 8 is arranged above the extraction surface 6. 5. The pressure rollers 7A, 7B, 7C, 7D are arranged in pairs such that in operation each pair of pressure rollers 7A, 7B; 7C, 7D rolls over one blister.
The pressure rollers 7A, 7B, 7C, 7D are each mounted on a rotary plate 9, which is arranged rotatably about the axis of rotation 8. Each of the pressure rollers 7A, 7B, 7C, 7D can thereby rotate about the own pressure roller shaft 10A, 10B, 10C and 10D. The roller pressure with which each pressure roller 7A, 7B, 7C, 7D can be rolled in operation over at least a part of the surface of the blister 5 is adjustable by means of the spring device 10A, 10B, 10C, 10D.
The pills 4 pressed out of the blister 5 fall through the fall openings in the collecting means 12. The collecting means 12 can be a container, but also a conveyor belt. In Figure 1 the collection means 12 is shown as a conveyor belt, which transports the pills further to a conveyor belt 13 and conveyor belt 14. Because conveyor belt 13 has a higher turnover rate than conveyor belt 12 and conveyor belt 14 has a higher circulation speed than conveyor belt 13, the pills 4 are singled. The device 1 can hereby be provided with a counting mechanism which counts the pills at the end of the conveyor belt 14 before the pills 5 fall into a container 15.
The extracting surface 6 is partially cylindrically shaped, the axis of rotation 8 coinciding with the imaginary axis of the cylindrically shaped portion of the extracting surface 6. This allows the pressure rollers 7A, 7B, 7C, 7D to roll better over the extracting surface 6.
Each pair of pressure rollers 7A, 7B; 7C, 7D is provided with sweeping means 15A, 15B, which are fixedly mounted on the pivot plate 9. As a result, the sweeping means 15A, 15B are rotatable about the axis of rotation 8, so that during operation of the device 1 the sweeping means 15A, 15B are rotated over at least one part of the extraction surface 6. The sweeping occurs after the pills have been pressed out of a blister placed by one of the pairs of pressure rollers 7A, 7B; 7C, 7D, whereby the blister 5 is wiped off the extraction surface 6.
The device 1 works with the following automated steps: a) A blister 5 is deposited on the conveyor belt 7 from the blister supply holder 8.
The conveyor belt transports the blister to the extraction surface 6 and deposits the blister 5 thereon. The pressure rollers 7A, 7B, 7C, 7D are positioned such that they do not form an obstacle to the blister 5.
The rotary plate 9 is rotated such that one of the pressure roller pairs 7A, 7B; 7C, 7D rolls over the blister 5 lying on the extraction surface 6.
The rotary plate 9 is then rotated such that one of the wiping means 15A, 15B wipes the blister 5 from the extraction surface 6.
Daarna vallen de pillen in de container 15.e) The pills pressed from the blister 5 fall through the fall openings 17 onto the conveyor belt 12, after which the pills are angled on the further treadmills 13 and 14. The pills then fall into the container 15.
f) Vervolgens wordt stap a) weer uitgevoerd.f) Step a) is then carried out again.
Figure 2 shows a 3D side view of the preferred embodiment of the device 1 according to the invention according to Figure 1. The extraction surface 6 and the treadmills 7, 12, 13, 14 are (partially) shielded by the side plate 25. In the side plate 25 the ends are of the first conductors 18A, 18B and the second conductor 22.
Arranged on the conveyor belt 7 is a conductor 25 which can be adjusted with conductor adjusting means 23. The conductor 25 forms a side boundary for the blisters 5, so that the blisters 5 are transported parallel to the treadmill 7 to the extraction surface 6.
Figure 3 shows a 3D top view of the preferred embodiment of the device according to the invention near the pressure rollers 7A, 7B, 7C, 7D, which gives a better view of how the pressure rollers 7A, 7B, 7C, 7D roll over the extraction surface 6.
The device 1 is provided with a series of parallel, substantially flat partitions 16, in which at least a part of an upper side thereof forms the extraction surface 6. The mutual distance between the partitions 16 is adjustable, the fall openings 17 being formed by one or more spaces between the partitions 16. The partitions 16 are supported by means of two parallel running first guides 18A, 18B, each of which is substantially transverse to the bulkheads 16. Both first conductors 18A, 18B are provided with corresponding grooves 19, each groove being at least as wide as the thickness of each of the baffles 16. As a result, the mutual distance between the baffles can be changed in a simple manner by each of the baffles in the to place correct grooves 19 of the first conductors 18A, 18B. This is necessary, for example, with other types of blisters, where the pills are in a different location. Owing to the position of the conductors 18A, 18B, the 4 pills pressed from the blister 5 can fall onto the conveyor belt 12 without interruption through the fall openings 20 without touching any further parts of the device 1.
The first baffle in the series of baffles 16 makes no contact with the printing rollers 7A, 7B, 7C, 7D and is slightly higher than the other baffles 16 when rolling one of the printing rollers 7A, 7B, 7C, 7D over the blister 5. The first shot thus forms a first side limit 20 for the blister 5.
The device 1 is further provided with a second side limit 21 for the blister 5. The side limit 21 is displaceable on one side thereof and rotatably arranged on a second guide 22 such that when rolling one of the pressure rollers 7A, 7B, 7C, 7D the second side boundary 21 is pushed over the blister 5 by the respective pressure roller 7A, 7B, 7C, 7D. To that end, the side boundary 21 is provided with a resilient mechanism 22, such as a torsion spring, which causes the side boundary 21 to be replaced after one of the pairs of pressure rollers 7A, 7B; 7C, 7D is rolled over the extraction surface.
Figure 4 shows a 3D side view of the preferred embodiment of the device 1 according to the invention near the pressure rollers 7A, 7B, 7C, 7D, in which the mounting of the partitions 16 in the device 1 becomes clear.
The invention is of course not limited to the described and shown preferred embodiment, but extends to any embodiment that falls within the scope of the scope of protection as defined in the claims and viewed in the light of the foregoing description and accompanying drawings.
