Claims

1. Suspension (12) for a dartboard (1), comprising support means (14) which can be attached to a background, such as a wall (11) and the like, as well as a carrier (13) which is attached to the dartboard (1) and which can be supported non-rotatably relative to the center line of the dart board (1) by the supporting means (14), characterized in that the supporting means (14) and the carrier (13) have interlocking shapes (22, 25), which interlocking shapes (22, 25) are capable of cooperating with each other in a plurality of positions rotated relative to each other around said axis 10 and mutual rotations of the support means (14) and the carrier (13) relative to the axis of the dart board (1).

Suspension as claimed in any of the claims 4-7, wherein the positioning element (21) and the receiving member (23) can be brought in and out of cooperation with each other in the axial direction.

9. Suspension as claimed in claim 8, wherein biasing means (17, 18) are provided such that the positioning element (21) and the receiving member (23) can be held under spring bias in cooperation with each other.

Suspension as claimed in any of the claims 4-9, wherein the positioning element (21) is attached by means of a central pin (20) to one of the support means 15 (14) and the carrier (13), and the receiving member (23) comprises a groove (26) terminating at an edge in which the pin (20) is slidable such that the positioning element (21) can be hooked behind the receiving member (23).

11. Suspension as claimed in claim 10, wherein the receiving member (23) has a number of recesses (25), which number of recesses (25) is smaller than the number of protrusions (22) of the positioning element (21).

12. Suspension according to claim 10 or 11, wherein the cavity (24) of the receiving member (23) has a depth that is greater than the thickness of the positioning element (21).

13. Suspension according to claim 12, wherein the positioning element (21) is displaceable relative to the receiving member (23) between a release position, wherein the positioning element (21) is displaceable with respect to the axis of the dartboard (1) relative to of the pick-up member (23), and a locking position in which the positioning element (21) is rotatably locked with respect to the pick-up member (23). 10302 01-

Suspension as claimed in any of the claims 10-13, wherein the receiving member (23) comprises an undercut cavity (24).

15. Suspension as claimed in any of the foregoing claims, wherein the interlocking shapes (22, 25) of the support means (14) and the carrier (13) are not rotationally symmetrical with respect to the center line of the dart board (1).

16. Suspension as claimed in any of the foregoing claims, wherein the support means (14) comprise at least three arms (15) extending radially with respect to the center line of the dart board (1), the ends of which are supported against the rear side (19) ) of the dartboard (1) in the state in which the dartboard (1) is attached to the support means (14).

17. Suspension according to claim 16, wherein the arms (15) are of elastic design, and in the state in which the dart board (1) is attached to the support means (14), exert a resilient bias on the dart board (1).

18. Suspension as claimed in any of the foregoing claims, wherein the interlocking shapes (22, 25) of the support means (14) and the carrier (13) determine a finite number of stable positions, as well as other positions that are unstable.

Suspension as claimed in any of the foregoing claims, wherein the interlocking shapes (22, 25) of the support means (14) and the carrier (13) define an indexing mechanism. 25
