2. RURAL DESCRIPTION

Below, the invention is further elucidated on the basis of, but not limited to, the exemplary embodiments represented in the figures.

First the technical explanation:

After folding a pram, the wheels still protrude far out in the width, and often have to be dismantled in order to be able to fold the pram as compact as possible.

The present invention has for its object to not having to dismantle the rear wheels of a 3-wheeler in order to be able to fold the pram to a very compact size, so that it is stored in a small space (cupboard, car trunk, etc.) can become.

To achieve this, there is no longer a fixed (rear) axle that runs from one wheel to the other (Figure 8), but each (rear) wheel has an independent suspension (Figure 8).

This suspension consists of a single or a double arm that runs towards the main frame (Figure 8) and can pivot there on an axis that is not parallel to the main frame (Figure 6), but is positioned at such an angle that when the arms from the wheels to the front (for rear wheels) or rear (for front wheels) towards the frame, they also rotate from the outside inwards (figures 6, 8, 9 and 10), so that the rear wheels (for 3-wheelers) ), or all wheels (in the case of a 4-wheeler) no longer protrude in the folded position (figures 5,6 and 7).

With folding up, the frame is not only folded flat, but the (rear) wheels are also folded inwards (figures 5,6 and 7). As a result, the rear wheels no longer protrude. This creates a very compact, pushchair.

With the wheels disassembled, a pram that is folded even flatter is created.

Claims (5)

1. Foldable pram, provided with at least one front wheel, two rear wheels and a frame, wherein each (rear) wheel is supported by a carrying arm which is pivotally connected to the frame via pivoting means, wherein the pivoting means enclose an axis for each arm which during normal use position encloses an angle with the longitudinal direction of the axles of the (rear) wheels, the (rear) wheels with the arms being pivotable relative to the frame and each other to a folded position. 2. Foldable pram according to claim 1, wherein the pivoting means are arranged such that when folding the pram the (rear) wheels move towards each other with the arms towards each other and in the direction of the at least one (front) wheel. 3. Foldable pram according to claim 1 or 2, wherein the frame is shaped such that in the folded position the (rear) wheels extend at least partially next to the at least one (front) wheel, preferably on both sides thereof (rear) wheel, wherein a portion of the frame extends adjacent to the (rear) wheels, in particular a handle portion of the frame. 3.
