Abstract

The jockey wheel (2) is steered using a frame (11) with a handle section (12) at one end of two intermediate frame sections (13, 14), and a fork (6) at the opposite end, which is securable to the wheel axle (8). The releasable coupling in the fork, preferably a hole, slot or hook, allows the wheel to be rotatably secured to the steering frame. Independent claims are also included for (a) a combination of the steering device, tow bar and fastening nuts, and (b) a method for assembling this combination.
