Abstract
An air cleaner (3) is disposed at a front part of an engine compartment ( 1 ), and a battery (4) is disposed directly behind the air cleaner (3). A rear part of the air cleaner (3) is supported at two points, one on each of right and left sides, by a lower supporting member (8) through locking means, while a front part of the air cleaner (3) is fixed to an upper radiator support (13) through one front bracket (14). The front bracket (14) is fixed to a portion of the air cleaner (3) closer to an inside of the engine compartment (1), and an extension line (18) of the front bracket (14) is inclined at such an angle 0 as to extend away from the battery (4) as seen in a plan view. When a collision accident occurs, the air cleaner (3) moves in the direction of the extension line (18) of the front bracket (14), so that damage to the battery (4) can be prevented. Figure 2
