A solid fuel production apparatus 100 includes: an accommodation tank (first accommodation tank 112 and second accommodation tank 114) configured to accommodate a biomass raw material and water; a dehydration unit 120 configured to dehydrate the biomass raw material; a drying unit 140 configured to dry the dehydrated biomass raw material; a molding unit 160 configured to mold the dried biomass raw material; and an effluent supply unit 170) configured to supply an effluent generated in the accommodation tank or an effluent generated in the dehydration unit to any one or a plurality of biomass raw materials selected from the group consisting of the biomass raw material to be guided to the drying unit, the biomass raw material to be guided to the molding unit, and the biomass raw material in the molding unit.
