Abstract
The invention relates to a vehicle (1) comprising a rear chassis (3) having two lateral beams (5, 7) oriented in the longitudinal direction of the vehicle (1) and interconnected by at least two cross-members (9, 11) distributed in the longitudinal direction of the vehicle (1), whereby the two rearmost cross-members (9, 11) are interconnected by a central beam (15) and the space defined by the cross-members (9, 11) and the lateral beams (5, 7) is in the lower part by a lower floor (13), the vehicle (1) being remarkable in that it further comprises an absorption device (17) arranged between the central beam (15) and the lower floor (13) and comprising at least one absorber (21, 25). The invention also relates to such an absorption device (17).
