Abstract

A boiler system (100) includes: a superheater (3) having an introduction part (11) which introduces steam, a superheating part (12) which superheats the steam introduced from the introduction part (11), and a discharge part (13) which discharges the steam superheated in the superheating part (12); a turbine (50) which is rotated using the steam discharged from the discharge part (13) of the superheater (3); a reheater (4) which re-superheats the steam discharged from the turbine (50); and a first steam supply part (6) which extracts steam from and upstream side of the discharge part (13) of the superheater (3) and supplies the extracted steam to the reheater (4), in which the first steam supply part (6) includes a pressure reduction unit (27) which reduces a pressure of the steam, and a switching unit (27) which cuts off the steam to the reheater (4) during boiler operation and permits a flow of the steam to the reheater (4) at the time of loss of power.
