Abstract

A method for extraction, enrichment and recovery of rare earths from a low-concentration rare earth solution, using a non-saponification organic extractant to perform centrifugal extraction, obtaining an organic phase containing rare earths and a raffinate; using an inorganic acid to perform centrifugal back-extraction on the organic phase containing rare earths, obtaining a rare earth enriched liquid. Low-concentration rare earth solution indicates a rare earth solution having REO concentration of 0.05-8 g/L. Single or dual coupled centrifugal extraction is performed according to the actual concentration of the rare earth solution, enabling all rare earths or light rare earth and medium-heavy rare earth to be respectively enriched to the organic phase containing rare earths, and then centrifugal back-extraction is performed through the inorganic acid, thus obtaining the rare earth enriched liquid containing all rare earths or containing principally light rare earth or medium-heavy rare earth. The present method has simple operation, protects the environment, has a high rare earth recovery rate, and is low in recovery cost. [The most illustrative drawing: FIG. 1]
