Abstract
There is provided an electrolysis furnace group and an electrolysis method using the same, which relates to the technical field of rare-earth metallurgical equipment and use thereof. The electrolysis furnace group comprises a main power (12) and at least two electrolysis furnaces. Each of the electrolysis furnaces comprises a cathode (8) and an anode (9), the positive pole of the main power (12) is connected to the anode of the first electrolysis furnace, the anode of each subsequent electrolysis furnace is connected to the cathode of its previous electrolysis furnace, and the cathode of the last electrolysis furnace is connected to the negative pole of the main power (12), the circuit that supplies power to the electrolysis furnaces from the main power (12) forms a main circuit (41). Each of the electrolysis furnaces comprises an adjusting device (3) to control the movement of the anode (9). The present invention has following advantages: control sensitive, easy use, high energy efficiency, low power consumption, and eletrolytically produced gas easy overflow. The energy consumption for unit product decreases along with increase of the number of electrolysis furnaces that operate in the electrolysis furnace group.
