Abstract
An air conditioner (100, 200) that controls the air conditioning of a space and comprises a thermal image acquisition unit (110), a calculation unit (130, 230), and a control unit (160). The thermal image acquisition unit (110) obtains a thermal image (103a, 103s) indicating the temperature distribution in a space. The calculation unit (130, 230) specifies an area corresponding to a person (102), in the thermal image (103a, 103s) obtained by the thermal image acquisition unit (110), determines a body temperature being the temperature of the person (102) in the space, on the basis of the temperature distribution for the area corresponding to the person (102), and estimates the warm/cold feeling of the person (102) in the space, on the basis of the difference between the body temperature and the ambient temperature obtained from a temperature for the area other than the area corresponding to the person (102). The control unit (160) controls at least one among the wind volume, wind temperature, and wind direction for the air conditioner (100, 200), on the basis of the warm/cold feeling of the person (102) in the space estimated by the calculation unit (130, 230).
