Abstract

A method of forming a modular room, the modular room (10) defining a wet area, including: prefabricating a base (20) suitable for a wet area; and erecting and fixing a wall (38) onto a periphery of the base, wherein the wall is made of fibre compressed sheet wall components. There is also a method of forming a modular room (10) , the modular room defining a wet area , including : prefabricating a base (20) suitable for a wet area , including providing upstanding reinforcement members (33) to be exposed from the base; erecting and fixing a wall frame (24) onto a periphery of the base ; locating plumbing (43) and/or in a wall frame cavity (23) in the wall frame; cladding opposing sides of the wall frame; and pouring concrete (55) into the wall cavity and embedding the exposed reinforcement members , and allowing the concrete to set.
