Abstract
Provided are a coal ash product processing device and processing method that make the size of a coal ash product that includes a granulated material and granule conjugates a prescribed diameter or smaller. This coal ash product processing device (200) comprises: a primary classifier that (80) that classifies a coal ash product as larger than a reference value or at or below the reference value; and a breakdown apparatus (90) that breaks down coal ash product that is larger than the reference value and returns coal ash product that has been broken down to at or below the reference value to the primary classifier (80). The coal ash product includes: a granulated material that has been granulated from a raw material that includes coal ash and then cured at curing equipment; and granule conjugates that are conjugates of a plurality of the granulated material. The breakdown apparatus (90) breaks down coal ash product that is larger than the reference value and only discharges coal ash product that has passed through spaces that are the reference value wide.
