Abstract
The present invention relates to a floating structure (10) arranged to support at least a plant and/or an individual. The structure has an upper surface (26) and one or more sides (14, 16, 18, 20, 22, 24) extending therefrom. The upper surface (26) has one or more apertures (42) and said one or more sides having male (30, 32) and female connectors (34, 36), with at least one male connector (30, 32) being positioned so as to extend from the side (14, 16, 18, 20, 22, 24) of the structure at a first location and at least one female connector (34, 36) being positioned at a second location on the side (14, 16, 18, 20, 22, 24) or a different side (14, 16, 18, 20, 22, 24) of the structure, said male (30, 32) and female connectors (34, 36) being releasably connectable to corresponding connectors on an adjacent floating structure (100, 200, 300, 400) thereby enabling a plurality of said structures to be connected to one another.
