In a biological safety cabinet (1) for animal cages in which an air is discharged by blower means to an outside of a device from a work space (3) through first air cleaning means (12a), a flow of the air to the work space (3) is configured such that, by arranging second air cleaning means (12b) for supplying air to the work space (3) and a small window (6) capable of being opened/closed and having an openingportion formed for feeding in parallel, the air is sucked from the second air cleaning means (12b) when the small window (6) is closed, and the air is sucked from an openingportion (7) of the small window when the small window (6) is open.
