Abstract

There is provided an absorbent article (1) having a longitudinal direction, a width direction and a thickness direction orthogonal to one another. The absorbent article includes an absorbent body (10) including an absorbent core (11) that includes liquid absorbent fiber. The absorbent body is provided with a bend line along t longitudinal direction to induce the absorbent body to bend and protrude to a skin s in the thickness direction. The absorbent core includes: a low density part (IIDL) that is formed at a position of the bend line (LB) in the width direction and is a part where a distribution density of the liquid absorbent fiber is lower than a distribution density of a surrounding part; a skin side layer (11s) positioned on a skin side in the thickness direction with respect to t low density part; and a non-skin side layer (llns) positioned on a non-skin side in the thickness direction with respect to t low density part. The liquid absorbent fiber is present at the low density part. The skin s layer has a part (llsLB) corresponding to the bend line (LB), the part bending so as to protrude to the skin side in the thickness direction. Figure 7 (A), (B)
