Abstract
Provided is an air conditioner capable of appropriately restricting cleaning operation for cleaning the heat exchanger. To this end, the air conditioner includes: a refrigeration cycle having a heat exchanger to cool or heat air; and a control unit (130) which is capable of performing heating operation, cooling operation, dehumidifying operation, and the like, and also controls the refrigeration cycle such that the refrigeration cycle performs the cleaning operation for cleaning a surface of the heat exchanger. Here, the control unit (130) has a restriction controller (138) to restrict the cleaning operation when a predetermined condition occurs. Fig. 1
