Abstract
An air conditioner is provided that cleans dirt adhered to an indoor heat exchanger smoothly. The air conditioner has a cleaner that cleans an indoor heat exchanger; and a controller that controls the cleaner. The controller controls, in a case where the cleaner cleans the indoor heat exchanger after an end of heating operation, the cleaner to clean the indoor heat exchanger after a given first delay time has elapsed since the end of the heating operation.
