Abstract
The invention provides a polybutylene terephthalate resin composition having sufficient fluidity to enable thin-wall molding during molding and having excellent flame retardancy even when molded into thin walls, and an injection-molded article obtained using this resin composition. A polybutylene terephthalate resin composition containing, per 100 parts by mass of (A) a polybutylene terephthalate resin having an intrinsic viscosity of 0.70 to 1.00 g/dL, a total of 20 to 65 parts by mass of (B) a brominated epoxy flame retardant and/or a brominated acrylate flame retardant, 10 to 30 parts by mass of (C) an antimony-based flame retardant assistant, 3 to 15 parts by mass of (D) a talc, and 1 to 10 parts by mass of (E) a polyvalent hydroxyl group-containing compound having a hydroxyl value of 100 or higher; and an injection-molded article obtained by injection molding of the polybutylene terephthalate resin composition, and having a thin-walled section with a thickness of 0.2 to 0.5 mm in at least a portion of the article.
