THERE IS PROVIDED AN INEXPENSIVE THIN COLD-ROLLED STEEL SHEET FOR BUILDING MATERIALS, THE THIN COLD-ROLLED STEEL SHEET HAVING A THICKNESS OF 0.2 MM OR LESS, EXCELLENT STRENGTH, AND EXCELLENT FLATNESS, AND BEING SUITABLY USED AS A FLAT MEMBER, FOR EXAMPLE, AN INNER OR OUTER WALL OF A BUILDING OR A ROOF. THE THIN COLD-ROLLED STEEL SHEET HAS A COMPOSITION CONTAINING, ON A MASS PERCENT BASIS, 0.01%-0.10% C, 0.03% OR LESS SI, 0.005%-0.5% MN, 0.01%-0.20% P, 0.03% OR LESS S, AL 0.01%-0.1% AL, AND 0.010% OR LESS N, AND THE BALANCE BEING FE AND INCIDENTAL IMPURITIES, IN WHICH THE THIN COLD-ROLLED STEEL SHEET IS SUBJECTED TO COLD ROLLING SO AS TO HAVE A THICKNESS OF 0.2 MM OR LESS, AND THE THIN COLD- ROLLED STEEL SHEET AFTER COLD ROLLING HAS A MEAN HARDNESS (HR30T) OF 68 TO 83, AND IN 90% OR MORE OF THE ENTIRE STEEL SHEET, VARIATIONS IN HARDNESS IN THE WIDTH DIRECTION WITH RESPECT TO THE MEAN HARDNESS ARE WITHIN +2.
