Abstract
A METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING REPROCESSED CASTING SAND HAVING HIGH QUALITY. AN AIR CURRENT UPWARDLY BLOWS CASTING SAND TO AN UPPER PORTION OF A ROASTING CHAMBER, WHILE THE CASTING SAND IS ROASTED IN THE ROASTING CHAMBER. AS THE CASTING SAND RISES TO THE UPPER PORTION OF THE ROASTING CHAMBER, THE CASTING SAND IS POLISHED WHEN THE GRAINS OF THE CASTING SAND COLLIDE AGAINST ONE ANOTHER. WHEN THE AIR CURRENT HAS A VELOCITY OF 0.8 M/S OR GREATER, UNNECESSARY COMPONENTS ARE ELIMINATED FROM THE CASTING SAND, AND REPROCESSED CASTING SAND HAVING HIGH QUALITY IS OBTAINED. THE AIR CURRENT CAUSES THE MAJORITY OF THE CASTING SAND TO RISE TO THE UPPER PORTION OF THE ROASTING CHAMBER. PART OF THE RISING CASTING SAND IS RETURNED TO A LOWER PORTION OF THE ROASTING CHAMBER FROM THE UPPER PORTION OF THE ROASTING CHAMBER VIA AN OUTER PORTION OF THE ROASTING CHAMBER.
