A MULTI-CYLINDER ROTARY COMPRESSOR, COMPRISING: A HERMETICALLY SEALED CONTAINER (1); AN ELECTRIC MOTOR PORTION (2) AND A COMPRESSION MECHANISM PORTION (5), BEING CONTAINED WITHIN THE HERMETICALLY SEALED CONTAINER, WHEREIN THE ELECTRIC MOTOR PORTION (2) AND THE COMPRESSION MECHANISM PORTION (5) ARE CONNECTED WITH A CRANKSHAFT (3), SAID CRANKSHAFT HAS A FIRST CRANKPIN (13) AND A SECOND CRANK PIN (14), BEING ECCENTRIC WITH RESPECT TO A ROTATION AXIS THEREOF, AND THE COMPRESSION MECHANISM COMPRISES: MAIN AND SUB BEARINGS (4,8) FOR SUPPORTING THE CRANKSHAFT (3); FIRST AND SECOND CYLINDERS (6A,6B), BEING PARTITIONED BY A PARTITION PLATE (50) HAVING A PENETRATING HOLE (51), AND INNER DIAMETER OF WHICH IS LARGER THAN AN OUTER DIAMETER OF THE FIRST OR SECOND CRANKPIN (13,14); AND FIRST AND SECOND PISTONS (10A,10B), EACH PERFORMING ECCENTRIC MOVEMENT ACCOMPANYING WITH ROTATION OF THE CRANKSHAFT (3) WITHIN THE FIRST OR SAID SECOND CYLINDER (6A,6B), WHEREIN A DIAMETER OF THE CRANKSHAFT (3) BETWEEN TWO COMPRESSION CHAMBERS FORMED WITHIN THE FIRST CYLINDER (69) AND THE SECOND CYLINDER (66) IS LARGER THAN THAT OF THE CRANKSHAFT (3) AT A PORTION WHERE IT IS ENGAGED WITH A ROTOR OF THE ELECTRIC MOTOR PORTION (2).
