A HANGER INCLUDES A HANG BAR PROVIDED WITH A SLIP PREVENTER HAVING A LARGE FRICTION COEFFICIENT ON AN OUTSIDE SURFACE THEREOF AND A SUPPORT MEMBER FOR SUPPORTING THE HANG BAR IN A HORIZONTAL STATE. AN INSERTION PORTION IS PROVIDED ON ONE OF THE HANG BAR AND THE SUPPORT MEMBER AND A RECEPTION PORTION IS PROVIDED ON THE OTHER OF THE HANG BAR AND THE SUPPORT MEMBER. THE RECEPTION PORTION IS OPERABLE TO ENGAGE WITH THE INSERTION PORTION TO SUPPORT THE HANG BAR ROTATABLY ABOUT AN AXIS OF THE HANG BAR. A ROTATION RESISTER MECHANISM IS PROVIDED BETWEEN THE INSERTION PORTION AND THE RECEPTION PORTION FOR KEEPING THE HANG BAR FROM ROTATING UNLESS A SPECIFIED EXTERNAL FORCE IS APPLIED.
