A DISPOSABLE SANITARY ARTICLE 1 HAVING A PAIR OF TAPE FASTENERS 5 ATTACHED TO TRANSVERSELY OPPOSITE SIDE EDGES 1a OF A FRONT WAIST REGION 20 AND A NON-STRETCHABLE TARGET TAPE STRIP 6 ATTACHED TO OUTER SURFACE OF A REAR WAIST REGION 22 FUNCTIONING AS A LANDING ZONE FOR THE TAPE FASTENERS 5. THE FRONT AND REAR WAIST REGIONS 20, 22 AS WELL AS A CROTCH REGION 21 ARE ELASTICALLY STRETCHABLE LENGTHWISE AND BREADTHWISE. THE TARGET TAPE STRIP 6 IS FORMED WITH A PLURALITY OF SLITS 8 SPACED APART FROM ONE ANOTHER BY A DESIRED DIMENSION, EACH EXTENDING LONGITUDINALLY OF THE ARTICLE, AND ATTACHED TO THE FRONT WAIST REGION 20 BEING SUBSTANTIALLY IN ITS NON-STRETCHED STATE.(FIG. 1).
