Abstract
THIS INVENTION RELATES TO A METHOD FOR PAVING ROADS WITH PERVIOUS CEMENT CONCRETE WHEREBY A PAVEMENT IS ACQUIRED WHEREIN WATER DRAINS THROUGH THE PERVIOUS CONCRETE BUT DOES NOT PENETRATE A STABILIZATION LAYER OR A BASE LAYER UNDER THE STABILIZATION LAYER, THUS WATER SPLASH IS REDUCED AND NOISES ON THE ROAD ARE ABSORBED BY THE PERVIOUS STRUCTURE OF THE CONCRETE WITHOUT SACRIFICING THE STABILITY OF THE PAVEMENT. ACCORDING TO THIS INVENTION, THERE IS PROVIDED A METHOD OF PAVING A ROAD WITH PERVIOUS CONCRETE, COMPRISING THE STEPS OF: APPLYING A CONCRETE MIXTURE FOR WITH A SLUMP VALUE IN THE RANGE OF 0 TO 4CM CONSISTING OF AGGREGATE, CEMENT AND WATER ONTO A BASE OR A LEAN CONCRETE LAYER AS A LOWER LAYER, THE PARTICLE SIZE OF THE AGGREGATE BEING UP TO 40MM IN DIAMETER; PRESSING THE CONCRETE MIXTURE OF THE LOWER LAYER WITH MEANS FOR PRESSING A CONCRETE LAYER; APPLYING A CONCRETE MIXTURE FOR A PERVIOUS LAYER WITH A SLUMP IN THE RANGE OF 0 TO 3CM AND A POROSITY IN THE RANGE OF 15 TO 30%, WHICH CONSISTS OF AGGREGATE CEMENT AND WATER ONTO THE LOWER LAYER, THE PARTICLE SIZE OF THE AGGREGATE BEING UP TO 40MM IN DIAMETER THE PORTION OF THE AGGREGATE BELOW 5MM IN DIAMETER BEING BELOW 10% OF THE TOTAL AGGREGATE; AND PRESSING THE PERVIOUS LAYER WITH A MEANS FOR PRESSING A CONCRETE LAYER.
