Abstract

THE PRESENT INVENTION HAS BEEN MADE TO IMPROVE A PROCESS OF CORRECTING MISCONVERGENCE OF A COLOUR DISPLAY TUBE BY ATTACHING A COMPENSATION CHIP (30, 37) TO A DEFLECTION YOKE. THE DEFLECTION YOKE HAS A SEPARATOR (10,12) HAVING A PAIR OF RIBS (40,41) ON A PLATFORM (L0A, 12A) OF THE SEPARATOR (10, 12) SO AS TO SETTLE THE COMPENSATION CHIP (30,37) THEREBY, AND THE PAIR OF RIBS ( 40, 41) HAVING MULTISTORY STRUCTURE. THE COMPENSATION CHIP (30) IS FORCED IN THE LOWER STORY ( 44, 45) OF THE MULTISTORY STRUCTURE, AND ANOTHER COMPENSATION CHIP (37) IS FORCED IN THE UPPER STORY (42,43) OF THE MULTISTORY STRUCTURE. AS THE TWO OF THE COMPENSATION CHIPS (30, 37) ARE HELD BY ELASTIC FORCE GENERATED BY THE COMPENSATION CHIP (30,37) OR THE MULTISTORY STRUCTURE OR BOTH, THE COMPENSATION CHIPS (30, 37) DO NOT FALLOFF THE MULTISTORY STRUCTURE. THUS EVERY COMPENSATION CHIP (30, 37) IS SETTLED EASILY IN DESIRED POSITION FOR CORRECTING THE MISCONVERGENCE OF THE COLOUR DISPLAY TUBE.( FIGURE 6)
