A METHOD FOR FABRICATING A PLASMA DISPLAY PANEL, INCLUDES STEPS OF INSERTING A SETTING TYPE PASTE (17A,50) WHICH IS A MATERIAL FOR FORMING A FLUORESCENT MATERIAL LAYER (17,117) IN SPACES OF PARTITION WALLS (11,111) IN A SUBSTRATE (10,110), BY USING A SCREEN (31,151) HAVING OPENINGS CORRESPONDING TO OPENINGS OF THE PARTITION WALLS (11,111) CONSTITUTING SPACES SERVING AS DISCHARGE CELLS FOR HOLDING THE FLUORESCENT MATERIAL LAYER (17,117) ON THE SUBSTRATE (10, 110) HAVING AN ELECTRODE PATTERN (20,21,22,23,120) , CURING THE SETTING TYPE PASTE, REMOVING UNCURED PORTIONS OF THE SETTING TYPE PASTE, AND FORMING THE FLUORESCENT MATERIAL LAYER (17,117) BY DRYING AND THEN BAKING THE SETTING TYPE PASTE.FIG.1
