Abstract
IT IS PROPOSED TO DETERMINE THE LOAD MOMENT IN AN ELECTRIC MOTOR BY MEANS OF THE DROP IN RPM UNDER LOAD. IN THIS PROCESS, THE DROP IN RPM IS DETERMINED WITH RESPECT TO A SET RPM BY AN ELECTRONIC EVALUATION DEVICE AT AN INSTANTANEOUS LOADING. WITH THE AID OF A REFERENCE TABLE WHICH IS STORED IN A MEMORY OR AN ALGORITHM, THE ASSOCIATED LOAD MOMENT IS DETERMINED FOR A PREDETERMINED TYPE OF MOTOR. THE LOAD MOMENT FOR DIFFERENT TYPES OF MOTOR CAN BE CORRECTED BY MEANS OF A CORRECTION FACTOR. FURTHERMORE, A TEMPERATURE SENSOR IS PROVIDED FOR CORRECTING THE TEMPERATURE-DEPENDENT TORQUES OF THE MOTOR.(FIG. 3)
