Abstract

A LIFT TYPE CIRCUIT INTERRUPTING APPARATUS APPLICABLE TO A DOUBLE BUS SYSTEM IS PROVIDED WITH A HANDLE MEMBER (14) WHICH IS ENABLED TO BE INSERTED TO ENGAGE WITH AN OPERATING AXLE (32) LINKED TO A DRIVE AXLE (15) ONLY WHEN THE DRIVE AXLE IS ROTATED THROUGH THE HANDLE MEMBER TO LIFT AND LOWER A MAIN BODY (11) OF THE CIRCUIT INTERRUPTER MOUNTED ON A TRUCK (12) BETWEEN UPPER AND LOWER PREDETERMINED HEIGHT POSITIONS. THE HANDLE MEMBER (14) ENGAGEMENT IS LOCKED WHILE THE DRIVE AXLE (15) IS ROTATED TO LIFT AND LOWER THE MAIN BODY (11) OF THE CIRCUIT INTERRUPTER. THE HANDLE MEMBER (14) IS ENGAGEABLE TO THE OPERATING AXLE (32) WHEN A LOCK BAR (22) IS DELOCKED AND PUSHED DOWN THROUGH A GRIP MEMBER (22B) SO THAT THE LOCK BAR IS IMPINGED ON A FLOOR SURFACE EXCEPT AN INTERLOCK PLATE POSITION, I.E., THE TRUCK (12) IS PLACED AT AN OUTSIDE OF A SWITCHBOARD (1) INCLUDING A BUS-BAR-AND- CABLE DISCONNECTING POSITION. AN INTERLOCK PLATE (21) SERVES TO PREVENT THE TRUCK (12) FROM ENTERING A BUS-BAR-AND CABLE CONNECTING POSITION TOGETHER WITH THE LOCK BAR (22) IMPINGED ON THE FLOOR SURFACE. THE SWITCHING OPERATION PROCEDURE CAN BE ACHIEVED IN SAFETY. (FIG. 4)
