Abstract
A METHOD FOR CONTROLLING DEFROSTING OPERATION IN A REFRIGERATING CYCLE WHEREIN A COMPRESSOR, A CONDENSER, A DECOMPRESSION DEVICE, AN EVAPORATOR, AND A RECEIVER ARE CONNECTED TOGETHER BY USE OF REFRIGERATING PIPING, THE EVAPORATOR OR THE RECEIVER IS PROVIDED WITH A DEFROSTING SENSOR, AND THERE IS PROVIDED A HEATING ELEMENT IN THE VICINITY OF THE EVAPORATOR, COMPRISES ENERGIZING THE HEATING ELEMENT FOR A PERIOD FROM THE INITIATION OF DEFROSTING OPERATION TO THE TIME WHEN THE DEFROSTING SENSOR DETECTS A TEMPERATURE OF NOT LESS THAN THE MELTING POINT OF FROST, AND DRIVING THE COMPRESSOR FOR A SHORT TIME AT PREDETERMINED INTERVALS IN SUCH PERIOD.
