Abstract
Un detector capacitivo esta blindado o protegido contra campos electricos externos para aumentar al maximo la precision de la medicion. El detector puede incluir dos conductores tubulares coaxiales que tienen entre ellos una camara en la que se introduce la muestra de material que sera medida. Un circuito de medicion conectada al detector puede incluir un oscilador de referencia que oscila a una frecuencia constante y un oscilador de prueba que oscila a una frecuencia que responde a la capacitacion del detector. El circuito puede exhibir o desplegar un valor que responde a la diferencia entre las frecuencias de prueba y de referencia. El circuito tambien puede invertir la polaridad de la senal aplicada al detector para reducir al minimo la acumulacion de carga, un circuito medidor de la frecuencia de enganche de fase, un circuito compensador de temperatura y un circuito compensador de la no-linealidad. El circuito indicador que despliega o exhibe una representacion de la capacitacion a escala continua o proporcional o puede exhibir una representacion binaria o "ir-no ir". Un detector alternativo para el sistema incluye conductores interno y externo coaxiales y con aletas que se entrelazan o engranan para aumentar al maximo el area de superficie capacitiva. Otro detector alternativo incluye dos detectores paralelos de tipo placa. El sistema detector puede ser utilizado para medir la densidad de carga volumetrica de un fluido o los parametros que responde a los cambios en la densidad de carga volumetrica, tal como puede ser, la velocidad de flujo.
