Abstract

La presente invencion se refiere a procedimientos biocataliticos novedosos para la conversion de a,?-dinitrilos alifaticos en el correspondiente acido ?-nitrilocarboxilico. Mas particularmente, la presente invencion proporciona un procedimiento para la conversion de 1-cianociclohexanoacetonitrilo en acido 1-cianociclohexanoacetico usando un catalizador enzimatico con actividad nitrilasa; el acido 1-cianociclohexanoacetico es un intermedio util en la sintesis de gabapentina.
