Abstract
Un sistema y metodo para un planificador basado en la prioridad con tiempo-escalable. Un algoritmo de planificacion flexible que utiliza duraciones de planificacion variables permite una mejor utilizacion de la capacidad del sistema. Se transmite una peticion de velocidad (408) si los datos llegan a una memoria temporal, los datos en la memoria temporal exceden una profundidad de memoria temporal, y existe la suficiente energia para transmitir a la velocidad solicitada. Una asignacion de la velocidad (418) en respuesta a la peticion de la velocidad indica una duracion planeada y una velocidad planeada aplicables para la duracion planeada. La duracion planeada es menor o igual a un periodo planeado (508). El periodo planeado es un intervalo de tiempo despues del cual un planificador realiza una decision de planeacion. El periodo planeado es variable y la duracion planeada es variable. El planificador se aplica preferiblemente en un sistema UMTS, CDMA 2000 o HDR para la planeacion de velocidad de enlace inverso.
