Abstract
Se describen un metodo, arreglo y programa de computadora para generar una base de datos de disenos seleccionables de manojos de combustible fresco utilizables en uno o mas reactores nucleares. En un ejemplo, se puede generar una poblacion inicial de disenos candidatos de manojos de combustible fresco y se puede establecer un conjunto de cambios de tipo de barra para hacer en un candidato dado en la poblacion inicial. Se puede modificar un candidato dado de manojo de combustible fresco haciendo por lo menos un cambio de tipo de barra del conjunto en el mismo. Un nucleo cargado con el diseno modificado de manojo puede ser simulado para generar producciones de rendimiento de manojo. Las producciones de rendimiento de manojo pueden ser clasificadas con base en una pluralidad de limites de alimentacion de usuario. El candidato modificado de diseno de manojo de combustible fresco puede ser almacenado, si las producciones de rendimiento de manojo cumplen, o estan dentro de un margen aceptado de, los limites de alimentacion de usuario, para generar la base de datos.
