Abstract
La identificacion de transmisores para las senales recibidas por una terminal. Para determinar el transmisor de una determinada senal recibida, se determina una lista de transmisores candidatos que pueden haber transmitido esa senal. Tambien se determina una zona de cobertura a utilizar para la senal recibida. Esta zona de cobertura es el area donde la terminal puede recibir la senal que se identifica. La potencia pronosticada para cada transmisor candidato se determina despues, por ejemplo, utilizando un modelo de pronostico de perdida de trayectoria y la zona de cobertura. Las potencias pronosticadas para los transmisores candidatos se comparan (directamente o relativamente) contra la potencia medida de la senal recibida. El transmisor candidato con la potencia pronosticada (directa/relativa) mas cercana a la potencia medida (directa /relativa) se considera como la que transmitio la senal.
