Abstract

La presente invencion se refiere a un compuesto sellante o adhesivo sustancialmente libre de gel que comprende un polimero de tipo butilo sin ningun dieno alifatico conjugado en su composicion que tiene un peso molecular medio Mn de mas de 20.000 g/mol y que contiene menos del 15% en peso de materia solida insoluble en ciclohexano en ebullicion a reflujo durante 60 min. En otro de sus aspectos, la presente invencion se refiere a un articulo conformado auto-soportado que comprende dicho compuesto opcionalmente intercalado en o interpuesto entre uno o mas medios de soporte. En otro mas de sus aspectos, la presente invencion se refiere a una cinta que comprende dicho compuesto sustancialmente libre de gel opcionalmente intercalado en o interpuesto entre uno o mas medios de soporte. En otro mas de sus aspectos, la presente invencion se refiere a una composicion de adhesivo que comprende dicho compuesto sustancialmente libre de gel. En otro mas de sus aspectos, la presente invencion se refiere a una composicion de sellado que comprende dicho compuesto sustancialmente libre de gel.
