Abstract

A method an appliance for making a waffle with a syrup holder or logo with a ring of three-dimensional flower-shaped flowers is described. The three-dimensional flower-shaped waffles have contoured surfaces that define, among other features, the petals of the flower. The underside of the waffle includes pyramidal wells that are shaped to allow for even cooking of the waffle.

Description

WAFFLE WITH SUPPORT FOR SYRUP AND / OR LOGO AND ASSEMBLY FOR COOKING Field of the invention The present invention relates in general to food preparation technology. More particularly, the invention relates to the manufacture of waffles with syrup holders or logos and other relief engravings.
Description of the Drawings The present invention is illustrated by way of example, and not by way of limitation.
Figure 1 illustrates an isometric view of a cooking assembly 100 for making waffles with syrup holders or logos, according to certain embodiments of the invention.
Figure 2 is similar to Figure 1, except that Figure 2 is a drawing of the cooking assembly 200.
Figure 3 is a bottom isometric view of a cooked waffle.
Figure 4 is similar to Figure 3 except that Figure 4 is a drawing (bottom isometric view) of the cooked waffle.
Figure 5A is a top isometric view of a cooked waffle that can house a syrup holder.
Figure 5B is similar to Figure 5A except that Figure 5B shows a support for syrup resting on the cooked waffle.
Figure 6A is an isometric top view of a cooked waffle with a logo.
Figure 6B is a bottom isometric view of a cooked waffle of Figure 6A.
Detailed Description of the Preferred Embodiment Figure 1 illustrates an isometric view of a waffle firing assembly 100 that can accommodate syrup holders or logos, in accordance with certain embodiments of the invention. Figure 1 shows the cooking assembly 100 in an open position. The cooking assembly 100 includes an upper plate 102 and a lower plate 104. The upper plate 102 can be received on the lower plate 104 or vice versa when the cooking assembly 100 is in a closed position.
The upper plate 102 includes a cavity 106. The cavity 106 includes, within it, a plurality of protuberances, such as the protuberances 106a, 106g and 106h. The protrusions such as the protuberances 106a are pyramidal in shape with a flat surface at the top. The protrusions such as the protuberances 106g have partial pyramidal shapes that are truncated to fit within the perimeter of the cavity 106. Furthermore, the protuberances in the cavity 106 are surrounded by grooves such as the grooves 106i. The protuberances 106h are beam-shaped and taper upward to form a narrow edge at the top. The protuberances 106a, 106g and 106h are arranged such that a circular space 108a remains in the middle of the cavity 106.
In addition, the cavity 106 includes an upper rim 106c along the perimeter of the cavity 106. The cavity includes an inclined inner wall 106e. The inner wall 106e is inclined at an angle such that an imaginary line 106f running from the upper rim 106c to a lower edge 106d forms a small angle with an imaginary plane that is perpendicular to the horizontal plane of the top plate 102. The small angle is such that when a waffle is cooked in the cavity 106, the cooked waffle can be easily detached from the cavity 106 to preserve the overall structural integrity of the cooked waffle.
The cooking assembly 100 further includes a lower plate 104. The lower plate 104 includes a cavity 105. The cavity 105 includes, within it: 1) contoured surfaces 105a, 2) a central cup-like mold 108b.
The contoured surfaces 105a form a ring around the mold similar to a central cup 108b. The contoured surfaces 105 a are for molding a ring of three-dimensional flower shapes in the waffle to be cooked in the cooking assembly 100.
The cup-like mold 108b can be received over the circular space 108a of the upper plate 102 when the cooking assembly 100 is in a closed position. The cup-like mold 108b has an inclined wall 108e. The inclined wall 108e is inclined at an angle such that an imaginary line 106f running from an upper edge 108c to a lower edge 108d forms a small angle with an imaginary plane that is perpendicular to the horizontal plane of the bottom plate 104. small angle is such that when a waffle is cooked in the cavity 105, the cooked waffle can be easily detached from the cavity 105 to preserve the overall structural integrity of the cooked waffle.
Figure 1 also shows a bottom isometric view of a cooked waffle 110 with a lower surface 110a and an upper surface 110b. The cooked waffle is described in more detail here with reference to Figure 3 and Figure 4.
Figure 2 is similar to Figure 1 except that Figure 2 is a drawing of the cooking assembly 200. Figure 2 shows the cooking assembly 200 in an open position. The cooking assembly 200 includes an upper plate 202 and a lower plate 204. The upper plate 202 can be received on the lower plate 204 or vice versa when the cooking assembly 200 is in a closed position.
The supior plate 202 includes a cavity 206. The cavity 206 includes, within it, a plurality of protuberances, such as the protuberances 206a, 206g and 206h. The protuberances such as the protuberances 206a are pyramidal in shape with a flat surface at the top. The protuberances such as the protuberances 206g have partial pyramidal shapes i which are truncated to fit within the perimeter of the cavity 206. Furthermore, the protuberances in the cavity 206 are surrounded by grooves such as the grooves 206i. The protrusions 206 are beam-shaped and tapered upwards to form a narrow edge at the top. The protuberances 206a, 206g and 206h are arranged such that a circular space 208a remains in the middle of the cavity 206.
In addition, the cavity 206 includes an upper flange 206c along the perimeter of the cavity 206. The cavity 206 includes an inclined inner wall 206e. The inclined wall 206e is inclined at an angle such that an imaginary line 206f running from the upper rim 206c to a lower edge 206d forms a small angle with an imaginary plane that is perpendicular to the horizontal plane of the top plate 202. The The small angle is such that when a waffle is cooked in the cavity 206, the cooked waffle can be easily peeled off from the cavity 206 to preserve the overall structural integrity of the cooked waffle.
The cooking assembly 200 further includes a lower plate 204. The lower plate 204 includes a cavity 205. The cavity 205 includes, within it: 1) contoured surfaces 205a, 2) a mold similar to a central cup 208b.
The contoured surfaces 205a form a ring around the mold similar to a cup 208b. The contoured surfaces 205a are for molding a ring of three-dimensional flower shapes in the waffle to be cooked in the cooking assembly.
The mold similar to a central cup 208b can be received on a circular space 208a of the upper plate 202 when the cooking assembly 200 is in a closed position. The cup-like mold 208b has an inclined wall 208e. The inclined wall 208e is inclined at an angle such that an imaginary line 206f running from an upper edge 208c to a lower edge 208d forms a small angle an imaginary plane that is perpendicular to the horizontal plane of the lower plate 204. The angle small is such that when a waffle is cooked in the cavity 205, the cooked waffle can be easily detached from the cavity 205 to preserve the overall structural integrity of the cooked waffle. Figure 2 also shows a bottom isometric view of a cooked waffle 210 with a lower surface 210a and an upper surface 210b.
Figure 3 is a bottom isometric view of a cooked waffle 310. The cooked waffle 310 has a lower surface 310a and an upper surface 310b. Lower isometric view 300 shows that waffle 310 includes a plurality of pyramid-shaped receptacles (pyramidal), such as pyramid-shaped receptacles 310c. The pyramid-shaped receptacles 310c are separated by edges, such as edges 310g. The base of the pyramid-shaped receptacles 310c have a smaller area than the area of the upper hole of the receptacle. Cooked waffle 310 also includes partial pyramidal receptacles 310d. The waffle 310 also includes the grooves 310e. The grooves 310e radiate from a central circular surface 310h. The lower surface 310a of the waffle 310 is created due, in part, to the various protuberances and edges of the upper plate of the cooking assembly that is described herein with reference to Figure 1 and Figure 2. The cooked waffle 310 also includes an inclined wall 310f.
Figure 4 is similar to Figure 3 except that Figure 4 is a drawing (bottom isometric view) of cooked waffle 410. In Figure 4, a cooked waffle 410 has a lower surface 410a and an upper surface 410b. Lower isometric view 400 shows that waffle 410 includes a plurality of pyramidal (pyramidal) receptacles, such as pyramid-shaped receptacles 410c. The pyramid-shaped receptacles 410c are separated by edges, such as the edges 410g. The base of the pyramid-shaped receptacles 410c have an area smaller than the area of the upper hole of the receptacle. The cooked waffle 410 also includes partial pyramidal receptacles 410d. Waffle 410 includes grooves 410e. The grooves 410e are irradiated from a central circular surface 410h.
The lower surface 410a of the waffle 410 is created due, in part, to the various protuberances and edges of the top plate of the cooking assembly that is described herein with reference to Figure 1 and Figure 2. The cooked waffle 410 also includes a inclined wall 410f.
Figure 5A is an isometric top view 500 of a cooked waffle that can house a syrup holder. The upper isometric view 500 shows the cooked waffle 510 with an upper surface 510b and a lower surface 510a. The upper surface 510b of the cooked waffle 510 includes the contoured surfaces 505a which form a bas-relief flower ring around the central cup 508. The central cup 508 can accommodate a syrup holder, such as the syrup cup 515 shown in FIG. Figure 5A. The embodiment is not limited to syrup holders. The 508 center cup can accommodate fruit cups, ice cream cups, or cups filled with another food substance. According to certain embodiments, the syrup or other waffle fillings can be poured directly into the central cup 508. The upper surface 510b of the waffle 510 is created due, in part, to the contoured surfaces 105a and the mold similar to a central cup 108b of the lower plate of the cooking assembly that is described here with reference to Figure 1.
Figure 5B is similar to Figure 5A, except that Figure 5B shows a support for syrup resting on the cooked waffle.
Figure 6A is a top isometric view of a waffle with a logo. The upper isometric view 620 shows the cooked waffle 610 with an upper surface 610b and a lower surface 610a. The upper surface 610b of the cooked waffle 610 includes the rounded surfaces 605a which form a ring of flowers in bas-relief about the central circular disk 609a. The central circular disk 609a includes an embossing 609b. Embossing 609b can be any logo, word, name or message. In certain embodiments, the central circular disk 609a may include any logo, word, name or message in bas-relief instead of embossing.
The upper surface 610b of the waffle 610, as shown in Figure 6A, may be created due, in part, to the contoured surfaces 105a and to the mold similar to a central cup 108b of the lower plate of the cooking assembly that is described with reference to Figure 1.
Figure 6B is a bottom isometric view of the cooked waffle 610 of Figure 6A. The cooked waffle 610 has a lower surface 610a and an upper surface 610b. Bottom isometric view 650 shows that waffle 610 includes a plurality of pyramidal (pyramidal) receptacles, such as pyramid-shaped receptacles 610c. The pyramid-shaped receptacles 610c are separated by edges, such as edges 610g. The base of the pyramid-shaped receptacles 610c have an area smaller than the area of the upper orifice of the receptacle. The 610 cooked waffle also includes the 610d pyramidal receptacles. The 610 waffle also includes 610e grooves. The grooves 610e intersect in a central region 610k. The cooked waffle 610 also includes a sloping 610f wall.
In view of the waffles 610 shown in Figures 6A and 6B, the central cup-like mold 108b of the cooking assembly of Figure 1 may be removable, in accordance with certain embodiments. Therefore, according to certain embodiments, the central cup-like mold 108b of the cooking assembly of Figure 1 can be disassembled and replaced with other core molds, such as molds for embossing words, logos, names or messages about the waffle In addition, molds can be used to create words, names or messages in bas-relief on the waffle. These molds can be screwed to the bottom plate of the cooking assembly. In certain embodiments, the core molds are fixed to the lower plate of the cooking assembly.
To make a waffle with a syrup or logo holder, the cavity of the lower plate of the cooking assembly is filled with a suitable waffle shake. The cooking assembly is then closed by superimposing or aligning the upper plate on the lower plate. The cooking assembly includes heating and cooking mechanisms suitable for cooking the waffles. According to certain embodiments, the cooking assembly automatically cuts off its cooking mechanism when the waffles are fully cooked.

Claims (25)

  1. A method for manufacturing a cooking assembly for waffle cooking, the method comprising: forming a first plate with a first cavity; forming a second plate including a second cavity, wherein the second cavity comprises a plurality of protuberances that are separated by a plurality of grooves; forming in said first cavity: a mold similar to a central cup for molding a syrup holder in said waffle; and a plurality of contoured surfaces for molding a ring of three-dimensional flowers in said waffle around said syrup holder.
  2. 2. The method according to claim 1, further comprising dimensioning and shaping said plurality of suitable protuberances to allow even firing of said waffle.
  3. 3. The method according to claim 1, further comprising shaping said first cavity to include a plurality of flower-shaped perimeters in said first cavity.
  4. 4. The method according to claim 1, further comprising adapting said second plate so that it can be received by said first plate when said cooking assembly is in a closed position.
  5. 5. The method according to claim 1, wherein said second cavity is substantially aligned with said first cavity when said second plate is located on said first plate in a closed position.
  6. 6. The method according to claim 1, wherein said plurality of protrusions have a pyramidal shape.
  7. 7. The method according to claim 1, further comprising adapting an upper perimeter of said second cavity that is greater than a lower perimeter of said second cavity.
  8. 8. A cooking assembly for making waffles, the cooking assembly comprises: means for cooking a first portion of a waffle that includes a support for syrup and a flower ring with three-dimensional shape; means for cooking a second portion of said waffle; and wherein said means for cooking said first portion includes a means for defining said support for syrup and said ring of flowers with three-dimensional shape in said waffle.
  9. 9. The cooking assembly according to claim 8, further comprising means for allowing said means for cooking said first portion to be received by said means for cooking said second portion when said cooking assembly is in a closed position.
  10. 10. The cooking assembly according to claim 8, wherein said means for cooking said first portion is substantially aligned with said means for cooking said second portion when said means for cooking said second portion is located on said means for cooking said first portion in said cooking portion. a closed position.
  11. 11. The cooking assembly according to claim 8, further comprising a means for forming a plurality of pyramidal receptacles on a surface of said second portion of said waffle.
  12. 12. The assembly for cooking according to claim 8, wherein said means for cooking said second portion has an upper perimeter that is greater than a lower perimeter of said means for cooking said second portion.
  13. 13. A cooking assembly for cooking waffles, the cooking assembly comprises: a first plate with a first cavity; a second plate including a second cavity, wherein said second cavity comprises a plurality of protuberances that are separated by a plurality of grooves, wherein said plurality of protrusions are sized and shaped to allow firing of said waffle; and a mold similar to a central cup for molding a syrup holder in said waffle and a plurality of contoured surfaces for molding a ring of flowers around said syrup holder in said first cavity.
  14. 14. The cooking assembly according to claim 13, wherein said first cavity includes a plurality of flower-shaped perimeters.
  15. 15. The cooking assembly according to claim 13, wherein said second plate can be received by said first plate when said cooking assembly is in a closed position.
  16. 16. The cooking assembly according to claim 13, wherein said second cavity is substantially aligned with said first cavity when said second plate is located on said first plate in a closed position.
  17. 17. The cooking assembly according to claim 13, wherein said plurality of protuberances have a pyramidal shape.
  18. 18. The cooking assembly according to claim 13, wherein an upper perimeter of said second cavity is larger than a lower perimeter of said second cavity.
  19. 19. A method for manufacturing a cooking assembly for cooking an affle, the method comprising: forming a first plate with a first cavity; forming a second plate including a second cavity, wherein said second cavity comprises a plurality of protuberances that are separated by a plurality of grooves; and forming in said first cavity: a mold similar to a central disc with an embossing on said mold similar to a central disc for molding said embossing in said waffle; and a plurality of contoured surfaces for molding a ring of flowers around said logo on said waffle.
  20. 20. The method according to claim 19, further comprising dimensioning and shaping said plurality of suitable protrusions to allow even firing of said waffle.
  21. 21. The method according to claim 19, further comprising shaping said first cavity to include a plurality of flower-shaped perimeters in said first cavity.
  22. 22. The method according to claim 19, further comprising adapting said second plate so that it can be received by said first plate when said cooking assembly is in a closed position.
  23. 23. The method according to claim 19, wherein said second cavity is substantially aligned with said first cavity when said second plate is located on said first plate in a closed position.
  24. 24. The method according to claim 19, wherein said plurality of protuberances have a pyramidal shape.
  25. 25. The method according to claim 19, further comprising adapting an upper perimeter of said second cavity that is greater than a lower perimeter of said second cavity.
