Abstract
Se proporciona una tecnica eficiente para determinar una porcion de un documento que corresponde a una imagen capturada. Se identifican areas de un documento en donde el patron esta por lo menos parcialmente obscurecido. Se selecciona un pixel de referencia en la imagen, y se determina un desplazamiento entre el pixel y el patron. Despues se hace una comparacion de pixel por pixel de la imagen con el documento de manera que el pixel de referencia es solo comparado con las ubicaciones en el documento en donde ambos estan dentro de las areas identificadas y tienen el desplazamiento determinado a partir del patron. La comparacion con la correspondencia mas alta entre los pixeles de imagen y el documento electronico despues identifica la posicion del pixel de referencia con relacion al documento electronico.
