Abstract
The present invention relates to soft pocket packages for absorbent tissue sheets (30), such as handkerchiefs or cosmetic tissues. Typically such packages contain more than a single tissue sheet. In order to extract a single sheet from such a package (10), it is necessary to provide an opening in the package such as a cutout in the package material allowing access. According to the present invention the opening is asymmetric in at least two cartesian coordinates, preferably resembling a sail design.

SOFT PACKAGE HOLLOW FOR ABSORBING TISSUE CANVAS THAT HAS A SAILING OPENING
FIELD OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to soft hollow containers for absorbent tissue fabrics, such as, for example, handkerchiefs or cosmetic tissue paper. These handkerchiefs are widely used, especially in Europe, and have replaced traditional cloth canvases used to absorb nasal exudates or for cosmetic cleaning. Usually these containers contain more than just one tissue canvas. In order to extract a single canvas from said container, it is necessary to have an opening in the container, which provides a cut in the material thereof that allows access and also the ability to reclose, to store a hygienic way, the container and the remaining tissue tissues. In accordance with the present invention, the opening is asymmetric in at least two Cartesian coordinates, preferably resembling a sail design.
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
Tissue absorbent tissue containers are widely used, and many publications show or reference these containers. For example EP 401 621 shows a parallelepiped container with an opening extending on two sides of the container. The opening is provided with a flap closure that is formed by cutting the packaging material along the line with two end points, thus creating a flap hinge between the two end points in the packaging material, and therefore The ability to re-close the container is also created. The ability to reclose is also improved by the provision of a closure means, in this case a tab of adhesive tape. Other containers that are in the same technological field are shown, for example, DE 2949496 demonstrates a container with a linear contour, DE 391 1779 also shows a container with a rectangular opening type, DE 3915192 exhibits a container having an opening with a non-linear contour, or DE 3920065 which combines various geometric shapes so that the opening in the package is created. Other package designs involving only one side of the package can be found, for example, in the German utility model G 9010670.9 or in the German utility model DE 9321429. In all these descriptions, the opening provided in the packages is shown and is intended to be symmetrical. This allows the user of this container to perform a selective extraction of an individual article by taking it from the center of the opening and by extracting it selectively without any asymmetrical unfolding. When designing an opening for an absorbent tissue pack, an optimization process has to be carried out between the idea of having an easy accessibility and a hygienic storage of the remaining canvases after performing a selective extraction. In the package a larger opening and the capacity dimension favor accessibility. L hygiene is improved with smaller openings. Any improvement with this sense, especially in disposable tissues, is an important step for the consumer of these items since they do not have to be handled with great care and must satisfy both the comfort aspects when the articles are extracted in a manner Selective, as well as hygienic aspects when storing the container with the remaining items, for example in the pocket or in the handbag of a lady.
It is therefore an objective, in accordance with the present invention, to provide an improvement with respect to accessibility, while at the same time the hygienic storage of the remaining tissue tissues of a package is improved.
BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
Therefore, the present invention relates to a container for tissue absorbent canvases in which the opening of the container has been selected in such a way that its surface is minimal, at the same time, as far as is conventionally possible, a better selective extraction and a better presentation of the opening of the article is provided, which can be obtained from the prior art or from the existing packages for these tissue canvases. Therefore, the present invention offers an asymmetric opening on the surface of the larger side of a parallelepiped tissue pack, whose opening also includes an edge on the respective side of the pack. This creates a container with an opening that has an asymmetry in two Cartesian coordinates.
More preferably, the opening according to the present invention extends through two of the surfaces of the parallelepiped container and has an asymmetry in the three directions of the Cartesian coordinates. In a preferred embodiment of the present invention material is used that is cut, in a conventional manner, to form an opening and create a closure flap from this material, creating the opening by cutting the material of the package with said cut having two end points and in this way a hinge line is created between the two end points along which the container material can be folded. Therefore, a fin is supplied, which is coextensive with the opening in the container. In an even more preferred version, such a flap is offered with a closure means, which can, for example, be provided by a flap of adhesive tape.
BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS
Figure 1 is a perspective view of a preferred embodiment in accordance with the present invention. Figure 2 shows the package of Figure 1 in its open condition. Figure 3 is a plan view of an alternative embodiment of the package shown in Figure 1.
DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to a package of absorbent tissue fabrics, such as, for example, tissues of disposable paper tissues which are well known in the technical field. These containers are usually made of plastic film materials or paper bags and are supplied in a convenient size for transportation in, for example, the pockets of the pants, in a purse or in a handbag. The details of the selection of these materials for the said products can be taken from any of the numerous publications mentioned above and in particular from the description found in EP-A 743 264. The containers are made from virgin materials, for example , from plastics, for example, polyethylene film material that is folded around the tissue canvases during the manufacture of these containers. The virgin film material is cut to an appropriate size to be folded around the packages, and the folding methods can be found in the aforementioned references. An opening is cut in the film material and when a fin is intended to be obtained from the coextensive material with the opening, the opening is cut such that, first, when opening the container opening a separation line is broken determined with the packaging materials. This can be done by a breakable cut such as, for example, by small bridging elements on both sides of the cut, such as perforations, micro perforations or a cut that extends only in a portion of the thickness of the material, which can be supplied by a laser cutting or a cut of ink or any of the usual ways to create a simulated separation line. As regards the manufacture of the opening, there is no particular difference with respect to the openings formed in accordance with the cutting-edge technology that is needed by the present invention. The present invention emphasizes the selection of the shape of the opening, which until now has not been discovered or considered by persons with experience in the technical field. The opening formed in the container is asymmetric, at least in two Cartesian coordinates and preferably in the three coordinates. This results in an opening in one side of the parallelepipedic container, which is asymmetric. Preferred embodiments are better explained with reference to the accompanying drawings which are now described in more detail. The triangular shaped openings are particularly preferred, more preferably the triangular openings in which one or more sides of the triangle are curved so that the triangle has a curvilinear periphery, even more preferably without dotted corners. As shown in the figures, this results in a small opening in the form of a "candle". Figure 1 is a preferred embodiment in accordance with the present invention in which the package (10) is shown together with a Cartesian coordinate system x-y-z. The extension X that is the largest of the container is in the direction of the coordinated x, the extension Z that is the smallest of the container is in the direction of the coordinate z, and the extension Y in the direction of the coordinated and is smaller than the extension X and is larger than the extension Z. A cut line (20) is shown which starts at the reference number 1 and reaches its end point in the reference number 2. The line at The length of which the cut is formed is asymmetric with respect to the coordinates x and y, and in the case of Figure 1 also in the direction of the coordinate z. However, according to the present invention the asymmetry in the z direction is not mandatory and the end point (2) of the cut line (20) could also end at the point of the edge (14) that is formed between the surface (12) of the container and on the surface (16) of the container, thereby including the edge (14) in the opening as part of the periphery thereof. In accordance with the present invention, an edge, such as the edge (14) or the edge (15) are formed between two surfaces of the container (10), at the same time as a corner is formed where the three surfaces (12, 16, 18) of the container meet. In the case of the preferred embodiment shown in Figure 1, where the cutting line (20) extends from the corner (14) on the surface (12) and also on the surface (16) traversing the corner again (14), a fin (22) is formed that can be folded along the line formed between the starting point (1) and the end point (2) of the cut (20). The opening as shown in Figure 2, in its open condition, consequently allows direct access to the tissue canvases (30) that are inside the container. Of course, it is also possible to provide an asymmetric opening that includes the edge (15) of the container, and although this also satisfies the desire to optimize the continuous hygienic storage of the articles that remain inside the container, at the same time that it would be improved Access to the tissue canvases 30 within it is less preferable than the embodiments shown in the figure which include an opening that extends and includes one of the edges extending in the direction of the x coordinate, since these edges are the largest edges of the parallelepiped pack according to the present invention. The surprising effect of the asymmetric shape selected in accordance with the present invention, in addition to the possibility of providing it in an aesthetically pleasing curve, is the fact that the relatively large extension of the opening along the edge (14) allows excellent access to articles (30) as shown in Figure 2, while at the same time reducing the size of the opening in relation to a symmetrical opening that provides the same degree of accessibility to the canvases absorbent tissue. The preferred openings shown in the figures are triangular or semi-triangular in shape, depending on whether the opening is formed by linear or curvilinear lines. In the curvilinear lines shown, the triangular shape is formed on the side (12) of the container, so that a corner of the triangle just extends in the dimension of the coordinate and at the midpoint or in the middle of the extension of the container in the direction of the coordinated y. Of course, this would be the coordinate x if the opening included the edge (15). In general the opening should cover part of the side (12) of the container somewhere between 50% and 20%, preferably between 45% and 30% of the Y extension of the package in order to achieve the desired result. The extent of the opening that covers part of the side (16) of the container depends on the site of the end point (2) of the cut (20). This should also have an extension, preferably, between 20% and 50% of the extension Z of the container. The extent of the opening along the rim (14) of the container should be between 95% and 40% of the X extension of the container. Preferably, this extension of the opening is between 60% and 90% of the extension X of the container and more preferably in the manner in which it is shown, approximately 60% to 70% of the extension X of the container. If the opening is provided with a closing flap (22) as shown in the preferred embodiments, it has been found that in particular the end point (2) of the cut may be extended by tearing the material of the package without pretending to do so. users of these containers. This can cause an aesthetic problem and a hygienic problem for the container. It is therefore desired to supply the end points (1 and 2) of the cut (20) with a tear stop circle as shown at the end point (2) in Figure 1 and Figure 2. Of course , the same can be provided at the end point (1) of the cutting line (22) but since it preferably ends at the edge (14) of the container, it may not be supplied with this circle. Also, if a flap (22) is created by a cut (20) in the packaging material, such a flap can be supplied, preferably, with a reseal feature. In the drawings of Figures 1 and 3, two preferred embodiments of the tape flap reclosing means are shown. The tape (24) is on the side provided with an adhesive means which, however, does not extend over the entire surface of the tape (24) but has a non-adhesive region on the tape of the flap opening. tape (24), facilitating the simple grip of the tape flap. In the preferred embodiment shown in Figure 3, the tape extends along a larger length of the cortex (20) of the flap (22) and thus additional hygienic benefits are offered. From the economic point of view, this can be achieved without an additional cost by maintaining the total surface area of the tape flap (24), which will result in the same area adhering with adhesive in any of the modes shown. in Figures 1 or 3. It has also been found that ribbons having a larger extension through cutting of the flap (22) are less common due to contamination, since the ends of the adhesive surface in the condition of open, as shown in Figure 2, are furthermore further apart, thereby reducing the likelihood of contamination at one end of the exposed adhesive being distributed at the other end of the adhesive on the closure tape (24) . Finally, it should be noted that if a flap is desired that can be provided, preferably in the manner indicated above, however, the flap can also be created by adhering another piece of material to the package. These adhesive flaps have the advantage that they can be selected to be larger than the opening and therefore improve the closure of the opening. This can also be achieved in the cutting of the fins, as shown in the preferred embodiments, by extending the cutting edge of the fin with an additional material. In the fin material the closure means may be provided in any design, so that it extends beyond the opening. While the particular embodiments of the present invention have been illustrated and described, it would be obvious to those skilled in the technical field that various other changes and modifications can be made without departing from the invention. Therefore, it is intended to cover in the dependent claims all these changes and modifications that are within the scope of this invention.
