Abstract
El invento consta de un tensor para bandas (100) que tiene un brazo de pivote (10) desviado hacia una banda por un resorte de torsion (30). El tensor (100) tambien consta de un embrague de una sola direccion (36) acoplado con un embrague de friccion (42). El brazo de pivote (10) del tensor (100) esta conectado a un embrague de una sola direccion. El embrague de una sola direccion (36) esta conectado en forma cooperante a un embrague de friccion (42) que tiene un momento dinamico de friccion predeterminado ocasionado por las superficies acopladas por friccion que se extienden radialmente. El brazo de pivote se puede mover en forma relativamente libre hacia una banda mediante el funcionamiento del embrague de una sola via (36). En el punto limite del movimiento del brazo el embrague de una sola direccion (36) se acopla, evitando que el brazo se aleje de la banda en una direccion opuesta. El brazo (10) solamente puede alejarse de la banda cuando el momento de tension de la banda es superior a la fuerza del resorte (30) mas el momento de friccion del embregue de friccion (42).
