Abstract

Una barrera de humedad respirable adecuada para usarse encerrando los electrodos flexibles, un substracto de espuma y otros componentes electricos dentro de un medio ambiente sustancialmente impermeable de liquido sin perjudicar, de manera significativa, la capacidad de los sensores electricos para medir con precision las variaciones de temperatura y humedad dentro del medio ambiente circundante tal como el compartimiento de asiento de un automovil. Ademas se describe que un material polimerico respirable tiene una relacion de transmision de vapor humedo suficientemente alta (MVTR) que permitira que el vapor de agua sea transportado a traves de la barrera y que alcance con rapidez el equilibrio dentro del montaje encerrado de estera de sensor de asiento y permitiendo la compensacion de humedad del sistema de deteccion de pasajero para funcionar de manera correcta. La barrera de humedad respirable de la presente invencion proporciona una MVTR suficientemente alta que permite un equilibrio rapido de humedad dentro de la estera de sensor para rastrear mejor los cambios rapidos en las condiciones ambientales del compartimiento de pasajero en base al arranque del automovil y la aplicacion ya sea del acondicionamiento de aire o la calefaccion.
