Abstract
En un sistema de proteccion diferencial de corriente de linea de energia, los tres valores de corriente de fase (IA, IB, e IC) son obtenidos del extremo local y del extremo remoto de una linea de transmision de energia (12). Se calcula la magnitud de la proporcion de los valores de corriente remota a los valores de corriente local. Tambien, se calcula la diferencia de angulo entre los valores de corriente local y remota para cada fase. Los elementos de comparacion (40, 42) entonces comparan la proporcion y los valores de angulo contra los valores preseleccionados, con lo cual se establece una region de restriccion en el plano de proporcion de corriente.
